Elaborations Of Carbon 2LP

Mike Scheidt's Eugene, Oregon doom metal band Yob self-released their debut Elaborations of Carbon in 2002, later reissued through Relapse Records. This 2LP on bone white vinyl predates the more expansive, meditative style Yob later became known for, leaning instead on slower, heavier, straightforward doom riffing. It stands as an early document from a band that grew into one of American doom's more prominent names.
