Willoughby's Beach LP

Willoughby's Beach came out in October 2011 as a self-issued garage-rock EP, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard's second release after their debut EP Anglesea earlier that year, and roughly a year before their debut album 12 Bar Bruise, and it sounds like it: raw, edges still unsanded, nothing like the sprawling genre-hopping the band would build a career on later. This is the group before they found their range, captured in its rawest, most unpolished form. It has since landed in the band's ongoing vinyl reissue campaign, pressed here on eco-conscious PET plastic.
