Jefferson Airplane Takes Off 2LP

RCA Victor got nervous about this one before anyone outside the building ever heard it, forcing lyric changes on 'Let Me In' and 'Run Around' and yanking 'Runnin' 'Round This World' off the LP entirely, even though it had already gone out as a single B-side. That kind of corporate fidgeting is exactly why the debut, cut before Grace Slick and Spencer Dryden replaced Signe Toly Anderson and Skip Spence, still has pressing variants collectors argue over. This blue marble 2LP is a Record Store Day Black Friday redo of that same tangled original.
