Infant Eyes LP

Infant Eyes first surfaced on Black Jazz Records in 1971, credited to Doug Carn featuring the voice of Jean Carn, part of a label run built on a specific trick: taking existing jazz instrumentals and setting lyrics to them. This Real Gone Music reissue, pressed on blue and black swirl vinyl, pulls its title from Wayne Shorter's tune and closes on 'Acknowledgement,' the opening movement of Coltrane's A Love Supreme, a bold spot for the closer.
