Lucky Clover LP

Whisper Doll started as Fiona Tagami alone in her Atlanta bedroom in high school, which makes Lucky Clover a strange kind of sequel to her debut, Perfume Garden: the first time she's had to share the room. Drummer Shawn Majeed, guitarist Maya Lagman, and bassist Julia Chrzanowski turned her acoustic demos into a full band record for Take Care Records, tracked at VHS Studios in Dumbo and producer Oscar Compo's home setup after Tagami moved to New York in 2024. Whether solitude or company suits her better is the question this record keeps arguing with itself.
