Guardians of the Galaxy: Awesome Mix Vol.1 Soundtrack LP

Awesome Mix Vol. 1 plays as the cassette inside Peter Quill's Walkman, built almost entirely out of 1960s and '70s singles like "Hooked on a Feeling," David Bowie's "Moonage Daydream," and The Jackson 5's "I Want You Back," tape hiss doing half the storytelling. Hollywood Records put it out in 2014, and it became the first soundtrack made entirely of previously released songs to hit number one on the Billboard 200. It held the top of Billboard's Top Soundtracks chart for sixteen weeks and has since been certified multi-Platinum by the RIAA.
