Good Will Hunting Soundtrack (1997) 2LP

Good Will Hunting, Gus Van Sant's 1997 drama starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, leans its Capitol Records soundtrack heavily on Elliott Smith, stacking six of his fifteen songs including the Oscar nominated "Miss Misery," written for the film, plus an exclusive orchestral take on "Between the Bars." Vinyl took years to catch up to the movie, and in that gap the soundtrack turned into something Smith's fans had to hunt down.
