Leaves Turn Inside You LP

Unwound built this one themselves, in a basement studio called MagRecOne inside a rotting farmhouse outside Olympia, right at the turn of the millennium. Justin Trosper, Sara Lund, and Vern Rumsey brought back Brandt Sandeno, this time on keys and guitar instead of drums, and piled strings and horns on top of their usual noise-rock grind. It turned out to be their last album, the one people call the no-wave answer to Phil Spector's wall of sound, and this anniversary pressing comes remastered straight from the original analog tapes.
