The Same Place 2LP

Tape kept rolling longer than either founder lived to hear it finished. Bill Doss and Will Cullen Hart spent roughly two decades assembling The Same Place, a 27-track double album for a band that helped define Elephant 6's lo-fi psychedelia out of Athens, Georgia, on records like Dusk at Cubist Castle and Black Foliage: Animation Music Volume One. Doss died in 2012 and Hart in 2024; the surviving members finished it from Hart's notes, with fellow Elephant 6 players Derek Almstead, Jason NeSmith, and Ron Kwasman producing.
