So Long, Astoria Demos LP

This collects demo versions of So Long, Astoria, The Ataris' 2003 major-label breakthrough, their fourth album and first for Columbia Records, the one where a cover of Don Henley's The Boys of Summer became the band's biggest hit instead of anything they wrote themselves. The original reached number 24 on the Billboard 200 and went gold within months, numbers that outran the mixed reviews it got at the time. Lou Giordano produced most of the record.
