Sock It 2 My Pocket (Yellow Vinyl)

Rome Streetz was born in London to Jamaican parents, came up partly in Queens, and signed to Westside Gunn's Griselda Records in 2021, a lineage that matters here: his catalog runs through Headcrack with Futurewave, Death & the Magician with DJ Muggs, and Kiss the Ring, still his biggest seller for the label. Sock It 2 My Pocket sticks to that same gritty, boom-bap-rooted street rap, built on associative, idiosyncratic writing delivered in a controlled, mellow tone, with IDK stopping by on "Time & Place."
