Under the Sanguine Moon CD

Denver's Plague Garden built their fourth album, Under the Sanguine Moon, around a vampire mythology, self-released on their own Bleeding Light Music. Bloodlust and the undead tangle with strands of Greek myth here, the follow-up to 2022's Blue Captain. Core lineup of Angelo Atencio, Fernando Altonaga, Stephen Hannum, and Daemien Alexander brought in outside players for the sessions, the kind of concept record that lives or dies on commitment, and this one commits.
