Goth took post-punk's chill and turned it into an entire aesthetic. Bauhaus opened the crypt; Siouxsie and the Banshees, The Cure and The Sisters of Mercy made it a movement; and the coldwave and darkwave offshoots carried the synth-driven gloom into the present. It's a genre that takes its sound and its style equally seriously — and one with a fiercely loyal collector base. We keep the shelves stocked accordingly.
