Days LP

Days LP pulls from Mountain Goats' early boombox era, before John Darnielle's songs got fuller studio treatment. This Cadmean Dawn pressing puts ten of those songs, including Song for Layne Staley and the title track, on pink vinyl. The rapid-fire lyrics and lo-fi guitar sound like Darnielle regardless of which stretch of his enormous catalog they happen to come from.
