Copenhagen Live 1969 2LP

Picture a band mid-transformation, shedding acoustic jazz for the electric sound that would become Bitches Brew: that's the Lost Quintet in 1969, Wayne Shorter, Chick Corea, Dave Holland, and Jack DeJohnette behind Miles as he pushed the music toward something new. Almost nothing from these European dates was captured on official tape at the time, so they survived for decades as scattered bootlegs. Sony Legacy has been excavating that body of tapes, and this Copenhagen date is part of that same push.
