Me First and the Gimme Gimmes take their cover song formula and point it at Nashville instead of the pop charts. Love Their Country hit Fat Wreck Chords in 2006, running Hank Williams Sr. and Garth Brooks through the same fast, punk arranged treatment they've given everyone else, alongside the Dixie Chicks and Johnny Cash. One arrangement lifts from the Clash, another rides a Misfits riff underneath the twang.
