I Wrote You A Letter LP

Anthony Gonzalez's tenth album as M83 pulls two old collaborators back into the frame: producer Benoît de Villeneuve, whose history with M83 stretches back to the early Dead Cities, Red Seas & Lost Ghosts, and artist Jean-Philippe Talaga, the Goom label founder who did the band's original cover art. That pairing tracks with what Gonzalez has said about the record, that he wanted it loose and unpolished, closer to the bedroom recordings that started the project than to 2023's Fantasy.
