Bestiaria LP

Ana Karen G. Barajas drives Bestiaria through cumbia rhythm bent sideways with electronic and trip-hop weight, twelve tracks that drag myth and the occult into the room, naming figures like Ixchel and Mayahuel along the way. The single "Ninfa" pulls water up out of nymph folklore and pushes it forward as transformation and rebirth, the whole record landing on ZZK, the Buenos Aires label built for exactly this kind of Latin American folkloric collision. This pressing comes on green vinyl.
