Hello, Honky Tonk LP

Kaitlin Butts, a singer-songwriter from Tulsa, built her fourth studio album, Hello, Honky Tonk, for Republic Records out of characters and scenes drawn from the honky-tonk bars she's played on tour, pointing to the movie musical Chicago and Disney World's Country Bear Jamboree as touchpoints. She first got attention with her Yeehaw Sessions covers EP, which included a widely shared take on Chappell Roan's "Red Wine Supernova," and has since been named to both the Opry NextStage and CMT Next Women of Country classes. The honky-tonk setting runs straight through the record, giving each song a place to stand.
