Josh T. Pearson left the sprawl of Lift to Experience behind and spent years in Berlin and Paris before circling back to a leaner sound. The Straight Hits! is his second solo record, out on Mute in 2018 after 2011's Last of the Country Gentlemen, trading his early one man Southern gothic weight for something tighter. This pressing runs on pink vinyl.
