Animative LP

Animative is saxophonist Josh Johnson's third solo album and his first as lead artist for International Anthem and Nonesuch together, built around his method of running sax through samplers and drum machines rather than playing it straight. If you know him from Jeff Parker's ETA IVtet or his Grammy-winning work with Meshell Ndegeocello, this is the one that puts his own name up front.
