John Prine Live 2LP

John Prine Live came out in 1988 as a double LP on Prine's own Oh Boy Records, pressed here in yellow vinyl, built mostly from a three night run at the Coach House in San Juan Capistrano, with a few tracks from other shows, including a Steve Goodman memorial concert like a room full of ghosts and old friends. Bonnie Raitt joins on Angel from Montgomery, David Bromberg plays electric guitar throughout, and the record is dedicated to Prine's mother, Verna.
