Merry Christmas From jackie Wilson LP

Mr. Excitement was the nickname Jackie Wilson earned belting out doo-wop with Billy Ward and his Dominoes, and that soaring tenor didn't calm down once Brunswick Records set him loose as a solo act in the late 1950s. Turn him toward "Silent Night" and "White Christmas" and you get Merry Christmas From Jackie Wilson, produced by Nat Tarnopol, which climbed to number six and ended up the highest-charting album of his career, like Santa Claus hired the loudest voice in the choir. ORG Music gets it back into print on green vinyl, after decades gone.
