Nobody's Coming To Save You LP

Gurriers get lumped in with Dublin's post punk wave, Sprints, Gilla Band, that whole crowd, but the five piece works a tighter, more claustrophobic groove than most of that company, guitars scratching against drums that judder rather than drive. Following their 2024 debut Come And See, Nobody's Coming To Save You settles into plain, unfocused dread rather than direct social commentary, frontman Dan Hoff sounding less like he's making a point than just describing a bad week. DIY Magazine handed it four stars and called out the title track and the percussive "Party Lines" specifically.
