Funkadelic hit Meadowbrook in Rochester, Michigan in 1971 and tore the roof off, Eddie Hazel ripping through "Maggot Brain" and "Good Old Music" while George Clinton's guitar-driven arm of the P-Funk machine ran loose. The tape's circulated before on CD through earlier reissues, but Org Music finally presses the full concert onto vinyl, a 2LP Record Store Day Black Friday exclusive. It's peak-era Funkadelic stretching out live instead of locked into studio takes, and it hits harder for it.

Record store day is Nov 27 -- Learn more
