Obadiah 2LP

Frazey Ford stepped out from the Be Good Tanyas for Obadiah, her Nettwerk solo debut, trading the group's folk leanings for a warmer, soul-steeped sound built with bandmate Trish Klein on guitar and Klein's partner John Raham handling drums and production. The title borrows Ford's own middle name, and The New York Times singled out her voice on release, setting it next to Dolly Parton, Ann Peebles, and Feist. This pressing comes on coke bottle green vinyl.
