Promises LP

Originally released in March 2021 on Luaka Bop, Promises set Pharoah Sanders' tenor saxophone against Sam Shepherd's Floating Points compositions and the London Symphony Orchestra, recorded in Los Angeles in 2019 and finished with orchestral sessions at AIR Studios in London the next summer. It was Sanders' only studio album in over a decade and his last before his 2022 death; this pressing marks the album's fifth anniversary on blue and green vinyl.
