Zirp! CD

A.G. Cook, the PC Music founder who's spent years behind Charli XCX, produces Zirp!, joining a run of outside producers, including Chris Coady, who've shaped the band's last few records. Zachary Cole Smith's band built its name on the dream-pop and shoegaze of 2012's Oshin, then Is the Is Are, Deceiver, and Frog in Boiling Water, work solid enough to land them arena support slots for Depeche Mode. Worth a look just to hear Cook's fingerprints on the record.
