Self-Titled LP

Thurston Moore once said there was a stretch when Die Kreuzen were the best band in the country, and a 1986 New York Times review credited the Milwaukee group with recasting gothic metal's legacy for a new audience. Their self-titled 1984 debut for Touch & Go is where that reputation started, twenty-one tracks pushing hardcore roots into heavier, stranger territory, some reworked from the earlier Cows and Beer EP. This is the yellow vinyl pressing.
