Elephants on Acid 2LP

DJ Muggs flew to Cairo with producer Fredwreck to cut tracks with local shaabi musicians Sadat and Alaa Fifty Cent, sessions that produced lead single "Band of Gypsies," while other cuts on "Elephants on Acid" were recorded in Joshua Tree with Gonjasufi. It was Cypress Hill's ninth album and their first full-length in eight years, built around a concept Muggs deliberately left open to interpretation. A sharp left turn for a group that broke through in the early '90s with "Insane in the Brain" and has stayed a durable crossover act ever since.
