Sling LP

Clairo's "Sling LP" hits its fifth anniversary with a dark green vinyl that's as honest as her lyrics. The album deftly balances the sweetness of youth with incisive observations, particularly in "Bambi" and "Amoeba," where moments of intimacy are tinged with sharp reality. These diary-like entries reveal the contradictions of coming-of-age, cleverly turning life's banality into something deeply resonant, challenging the very nature of pop's façade.
