The Dark LP

Doom riffs, folk bones, and industrial grit have circled each other across Chelsea Wolfe's records since Abyss in 2015, through Hiss Spun in 2017 and Birth of Violence in 2019, and The Dark keeps stacking them into the same dense, minor-key pile. Vocals get buried and reprocessed until they read more gothic ritual than song. Loma Vista, a label built around heavy and left-of-center acts, picked her up for 2024's She Reaches Out to She Reaches Out to She and continues that partnership here.
