Dark Recollections LP

Dark Recollections is the only album Carnage ever made, which makes sense once you notice the band had already broken up by the time Earache's Necrosis imprint put it out. Founded in Växjö by guitarist Michael Amott and bassist and vocalist Johan Liiva, the lineup rounded out with vocalist Matti Kärki and drummer Fred Estby before everyone scattered: Amott and Liiva built Arch Enemy, while Kärki, Estby, and guitarist David Blomqvist reformed Dismember. A later reissue tacked on bonus tracks pulled from the band's early demos, outliving the group that made them.
