Balthvs -Trasmutations LP

Balthvs plays like six different radio stations bleeding into one signal: funk, surf rock, cumbia, Middle Eastern scales, and disco, all run through a thick psychedelic haze across albums like Macrocosm, Cause and Effect, and Harvest. Guitarist Balthazar Aguirre and drummer Santiago Lizcano built the Bogota trio around bassist and vocalist Johanna Mercuriana after catching her play locally in 2020. SXSW, Rock al Parque, and a stop at Outside Lands have carried them well past Colombia's borders.
