Arlo Parks won the Mercury Prize for whispering into a diary on Collapsed in Sunbeams, so turning her third album, Ambiguous Desire, toward the dancefloor counts as a genuine swerve. Paul Epworth, Baird, and Andrew Sarlo produced, David Wrench mixed, and Sampha turns up on 'Senses,' both singing on it and co-writing it. The record still climbed to the UK Top 15 and topped the UK Independent Albums chart, proof the hush wasn't the only thing selling records. This pressing is 140g blue vinyl with a signed cover.
