Back to Pennsylvania LP

Anna Shoemaker writes like she's got nothing left to lose, and Back to Pennsylvania is what happens when the running stops: she moved back to the Philly suburbs after a rough stretch and built the record straight out of that return. She's called it the calm after the storm, songs about sorting through the wreckage instead of fleeing it. "Dying On Your Hill" brings in Deloyd Elze, and the whole thing follows her debut, Everything Is Fine (I'm Only On Fire).
