Oblivion LP

Alice Phoebe Lou spent years singing on European street corners before Nettwerk Music Group brought her into a proper studio system; Oblivion, her sixth album, is the first one she's built entirely with her own hands, no outside producer touching the board. It pulls together songs she wrote and set aside earlier in her career, among them "You and I," "The Surface" and "Old Shadows," while the single "Pretender" makes its case for staying yourself instead of folding to what everyone else wants.
