Revival LP

Basim Al-Hashimi cut Revival on a 1978 trip to the United States and pressed it himself in 1979, a handful of copies that scattered to the wind. What's on it sounds like a prayer that wandered into a jam band, Baghdad melody lines stretched out over psychedelic and prog rock until the spiritual-jazz passages tip into something looser and wilder. Different Strokes For Different Folks worked directly with Al-Hashimi to get this back on wax for the first time since that original run.
