Folklore LP

Absinthe Studio in Denver is where 16 Horsepower cut Folklore, producing it themselves with Bob Ferbrache engineering and mixing traditional gospel and folk songs in with a handful of originals. Pitchfork scored it 7.9, and it charted in the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and France, unusually wide reach for a band built on David Eugene Edwards' stark baritone.
