Libaux, Olivier - Uncovered Queens of the Stone Age LP

In the aughts, Olivier Libaux co-founded with Marc Collin the band Nouvelle Vague, a bossa nova style cover band that reinterpreted their favorite bands' songs, over a span of 10 albums and more than 15 years of touring the world. In 2011, Olivier presented the idea of a cover album of Queens Of The Stone Age to their lead singer Josh Homme. After Josh gave him the green light, he gathered 12 of his favorite female vocalists from around the world and with his core crew -Frédéric Carayol for mixing, Raphaël Chassin for percussion, and Greg Calbi for mastering.
