Oh Sees is the prolific recording project of American musician John Dwyer (Dwyer), based in San Francisco / Los Angeles. The project has changed names multiple times across its multi-decade history - Orinoka Crash Suite (OCS, 1997-2005), The Ohsees / The Oh Sees (2006-2008), Thee Oh Sees (2008-2013), then back to Oh Sees (2017-2018), Osees (2018-2020), and Osees (2020-present). The project's distinctive blend of garage rock, psychedelic rock, krautrock, and prolific output (over 25 studio albums) has positioned Dwyer as one of the most distinctive contemporary garage rock figures. He has also operated parallel projects including Damaged Bug, Bare Wires, and others. The longtime band members have included Tim Hellman (bass), Dan Rincon (drums), and Paul Quattrone (drums). Brigid Dawson was a founding-era backing vocalist and keyboardist.
