Maladroit is the fourth studio album by Weezer, released on May 14, 2002. Self-produced by the band themselves, the album is the first Weezer album to feature bassist Scott Shriner, following the departure of former bassist Mikey Welsh in 2001.
Weezer's third album, a brighter more polished album than predecessor Pinkerton. Emphasis on power pop structures and melody and straying away from personal subject matters that made Pinkerton less commercially successful
The self-titled Weezer is lean and mean at 10 short, punchy tunes, but nearly every one is powered by a larger-than-life chorus or a simple but effective lyric.
First released in 1972, Freddie King's Texas Cannonball follows the thread of his previous album, Getting Ready, but adding more of a rock feel...they don't call him the King of Freddie for naught. 140g Virgin Vinyl!
This highly anticipated album is the epitome of analog transcendence fueled by a 30-piece orchestra, analog synthesizers, breakbeats and Brazilian vocalists.
