Method Man’s debut album Tical was released through Def Jam approximately one year after the Wu-Tang Clan released their debut album Enter the Wu-Tang: 36 Chambers.
Despite being rap veterans at the time, The Roots maintained a sense of artistic urgency, crafting this conceptual album with a loose narrative that follows Undun's imaginary protagonist through a journey of imbalance, self-reflection, and triumph.
Tical (The Bonus Joints) features B-sides and rare tracks from the second disc of the Tical deluxe CD, now available on an opaque silver 2 LP pressing and limited to 1000 units.
