Bitches Brew is a studio album by Miles Davis, originally released in 1970. It marked his continuing experimentation with electric instruments such as the electric piano and guitar in order to reject traditional jazz rhythms.
The Kansas City born trumpeter Carmell Jones was quickly signed by Pacific Jazz soon after his arrival in Los Angeles in 1960, and began a promising recording career with his impressive and accurately titled 1961 debut The Remarkable Carmell Jones.
