Live From Austin, Tx 2LP

This set pins down Widespread Panic's October 31, 2000 taping for Austin City Limits, cut while founding guitarist Michael Houser still stood alongside John Bell, Dave Schools, JoJo Hermann, Todd Nance, and Domingo "Sunny" Ortiz. New West Records has kept it circulating through a DVD and an earlier vinyl run, and this rainbow-splatter pressing wraps it in new cover art from longtime band poster artist JT Lucchesi. Eleven songs, and the band stretches every one of them out, extended improvisation doing the heavy lifting.
