White Hills run on just two constants, Dave W. and Ego Sensation, who've held the New York psychedelic space-rock duo together since 2003 and built a sound that splits Hawkwind's motorik drive against Pink Floyd's cosmic sprawl. This live album pulls their 2011 set at Roadburn, the Dutch heavy-music festival, where their long, effects-drenched jams stretched out exactly the way they're built to. It's one release deep in a catalog that now runs past a dozen studio albums.
