Can't Stop It! II - Australian Post-Punk 1979-84 2LP

Static on the line between Australia and everywhere else, that's the frequency this compilation tunes into: local bands cutting loose from overseas influence, some heading nowhere, others toward Dead Can Dance and Hunters & Collectors. First issued on CD in 2007, Chapter Music's set returns as a remastered double LP with unreleased extras, including This Five Minutes' 'How,' which by the label's account beat the Stone Roses' 'Fool's Gold' to the same trick by several years.
