Recorded through the winter of 2000 into March 2001 in the farmhouse basement studio the band built themselves in Olympia, distortion drains out of Leaves Turn Inside You like current slowly cut from a wire, a record Numero Group calls a no-wave response to Spector's Wall of Sound. It's the band's seventh and final album, and its only one with all four founding members, Brandt Sandeno back on keyboards and guitar, not drums, as Justin Trosper pushed the group toward texture over noise. Remastered from the original tapes for this 25th anniversary, in a foil jacket with a replica poster.
