String Theory LP

TRSH (Derek Berry, Keiran Andrews, and brothers Bowen and Gunnar Pennell out of Springfield, Missouri) build a scrappy fusion of punk and Midwest emo, and String Theory, their first record for Wax Bodega after 2022's Kiss Me, leans hard into the band's self-deprecating streak: bad decisions, awkward apologies, late-night spirals of regret. "Drown Me in a Bathtub" sums it up, chaotic and deliberate at once, never once losing its hooks in the wreckage.
