Trio Ternura, three siblings who spent the early 1970s stockpiling singles that mostly skipped the album entirely, left "Razão de Ser" as a 1972 non-LP single until now. It pairs soulful vocal harmony with Brazilian groove, less a detour from an LP than proof the group treated 45s as the real work. The flip, the uptempo "O Mensageiro," skips the mood and heads straight for the dancefloor. Vampisoul's 45 is the first time either side has been reissued.
